The 5th ETNOFILm Festival will be held in Rovinj’s Multimedia Centre from 24 to 27 April 2013. The festival has been conceived as a place to exchange ideas on visual explorations of culture, and its goal is to open a dialogue between cultures and to popularise Croatian ethnographic film.
Of the 92 submitted, the selectors of the competition programme have chosen 24 films with very different themes and methodological approaches. The selection aims to follow contemporary anthropological/ethnographic film production and give space to documentary filmmakers whose work. The festival will open with Elvis Lenić’s documentary film Comrade Ferlin.
